    Once a year the heavenly couple meets in the skies. This time the event will take place on Sunday, April 7th.

    Venus and Mars are the two closest planets to Earth. Venus – bright and beautiful – from the side that is closer to the Sun, and Mars – red and cold – from the other side. Both are planets visible to the naked eye. Usually we can see them clearly in the night sky, but this time the meeting is taking place very close to the sun, so they both will not be visible to us. Nevertheless we can know about this unique meeting and feel it in our lives.

     Mythological Venus and Mars were an interesting couple. Venus, goddess of beauty and love, was actually married to another god, but had an affair with the god of War – Mars. Venus represents women and feelings, while Mars represents men and action. The two opposites could not resist each other and were attracted to each other by a power bigger than both of them.

    From this affair Venus gave birth to a daughter and two sons. The daughter, Harmony, represents the beauty of opposites meeting and working well together. But the two sons – Phoebes and Daimyos – represent everything that can go wrong when emotions and actions collide.

    The meeting of the two planets this week will affect our lives, and as the children they bore, we will have to choose between the two opportunities that are available to us in these special times when two polarities are affecting us at the same time;

    We have to pay attention to our emotions, as they can get very hot and aggressive these days. We can easily be filled with fears and daemons.

    But if we will know how to handle this match well, we could experience very creative times that will allow us to do what we feel and love what we do. The meeting between the two can create is a special harmony between men and women, between emotions and actions.
