Sun-Uranus Opposition

This week the Sun opposes Uranus, planet of revolution and friction.

The Sun is in the astrological realm of Abundance (constellation Virgo) and Uranus is in the realm of the Lake (constellation Pisces). Once a year the two planets  oppose each other bringing their two frequencies to stand one against the other.

The Sun represents everything we are aware of, our center of gravity, our aims and known desires. Uranus, named after the primal god, speaks about our ability to create new things anew, but also, like Uranium, to destroy our own creation.

The Sun “shining” upon Uranus brings to light our ability to create something new, our need for a revolution, but also lightens up our destructive side.

If there is a change needed to be done that hasn’t happened yet – this is the time for it to happen, with these two giants opposing each other!

And our development is needed in these times in order to  cling to the positive side of this opposition and not allow ourselves to fall down into the darker side.

People, nations and earth itself – will all need to learn this week how to bring about the revolution and make the needed changes in a pro-creative way, and not in a destructive one.

There is a big risk of damaging the whole tree while trying to shake down the leaves, so awareness and mature choices must be made.
